Darkkit glared at Coldfang. "So all along you hated me and pretended to be my father....here's some news, you fail as a father!" Darkkit spat and pelted away, tears streaming down his cheeks.

"Darkkit! I never hated you I hated Darkheart! I love you son!" Coldfang pelted after him, tears coming down.

Darkheart scowled. "It's not my fault you lied to him. Now if you'll excuse me, I need to go talk to my son." Darkheart growled and bounded after Darkkit.

Coldfang screech and launched him onto Darkheart. "I will tear your heart out!"

Darkheart rolled onto his back and snorted. "Too bad, I don't have one!"

Darkkit skidded to a stop and bolted toward the toms. "Stop fighting!" he yowled. "I think I'm fully capable of making decisions for myself and as far as my decitions go...I hate both of you!" he hissed.

"How can I ever make this better?" Coldfang mewed very softly as he got off of Darkheart and started to pad towards the camp entrance.

Darkheart stood and padded over to Darkkit. "How could you hate a cat you do not know?" he asked. "I just know you're bad news and not my father." Darkkit growled, his dark green eyes like burning flames.

Without a word, and one last look at his mate and kits, Coldfang padded outside the camp.

Darkkit saw Coldfang leave and followed him, glaring at Darkheart once more. "Coldfang! We need to talk one more time." he called, running after him.

As Coldfang was leaving he heard Darkkit's mew and sharply turned around. "Are you just going to make some more comments about how I am not your father?! Because I have gotten that cleared up!" Coldfang yowled, anger and saddness building up.

Coldfang purred, then lick Darkkit's cheek. "Thank you. I am sorry for making you think I didnt love you."

"It's alright." Darkkit purred. Icestep came sprinting toward them, Blizzardkit dangling from her jaws. She set Blizzardkit down gently and asked "What happen? Are you guys ok?"circling them worriedly.
